Hey there, readers!
Today is another poem, though I’ve decided to omit my awkward “a poem” explanation from the title XD. For me, 2019 was a year full of intense highs and intense lows. It was never in between. January, 2020 brought with it some painful closure, and from the healing of that, this poem emerged. I like to think that anyone can find comfort in these words, and I hope they do!
Peace in the Storm
There is no shame in letting go
There is freedom in the unknown
Even when things fall apart
Even when that includes your heart
There is peace in forgiveness
There is joy in the stillness
