You Are Brave: A Poem

In a time of so much fear and pain, I thought this poem might be suitable. I don’t think we tell people enough that they’re brave. That they’re strong. That they’re enough. We seem so set on tearing each other down. So. You. Are. Brave.

You Are Brave

Here, even amongst the stars that burn bright, the galaxies that sway in a heavenly song, and the oceans that roar their furies and scream their agony in cresting white waves. Here, amongst beauty so awe-inspiring and fearful. You have decided to burn, to sway, to roar, to scream. To live. And I think that is the bravest thing of all.
